Getting more than you expected! It's how we roll!

Ed and Kaitlin are planning their wedding.  What they didn't plan for (until we met) was that they were getting a wedding photographer, a film maker and over 700 views on Facebook!  Oh yeah...and then there's the Red Truck!  From a Save The Date film to their engagement session, Ed and Kaitlin got more than they expected!

When I met Kaitlin and her mom for the first time, Kaitlin had been shopping around for a wedding photographer for Kaitlin fiancee Ed's Wedding next June.  We seemed to hit it off right away and upon our next meeting, they had already decided on preordering products (saved money this way) and we began discussing an engagement session concept, which fit who they were and the style of their wedding!  Hooray!
We've been on the same page since!  I also talked about a Save The Date film idea, to which Kaitlin agreed to, but not really knowing what the result would be.  She was probably thinking "how can he take pictures AND make a film?"... Well I'll tell ya how...

My wife on hair and makeup detail!
...With planning and an more planning... and a wife that is awesome!
Me taking a picture of the Truck owners for letting us use this beauty!
...she also helps shoot, move things and sometimes takes pictures of me working...
They were THRILLED with the results.  And so were we!

Two days later, we were in a local park shooting Ian & Brittany for their baby announcement photo.  Brittany had seen this movie poster idea on Pinterest and wanted to do something like that.  After a brief chat, I suggested we change the setting and I just thought the park and swings would make for a cute idea.  After a bit more research that would affect even the font I chose for their announcement, we were ready for our session!  Brittany and Ian are so easy to work with and look so good on camera, our session didn't last long at all.  Home I went and to their surprise, I was finished with their work that same night!  Again, trying to deliver more than expected.

All we can do is try our best.

This was not a new idea by any sense of the concept, but we did what we could to make it theirs, make it personal, make it mean something to them.

Here's the results:

So the moral of the story is this:  We like being as creative as possible, coming up with creative, fun ways to share your story and we really try to exceed expectations.  That may be risky to claim, but hey... iron sharpens iron...

Have a great day!
Robb

Terrific work and value for the client! This is what sets McKindles Film and Photography apart from the pack. Who doesn't want this kind of attention paid to their story?
